There will be a run of entries in the next three weeks that tell the story of a Christmas that Neston documented in 1996. There will be a KEY plot point revealed on Boxing Day (entry - not necessarily published then, I may still be merry) which will sort of end Act 1, even though we won't know why... complex, but I'm working on a way to make it less of a tease without presenting an open book. The journal will run from early 1995 to mid-1997 with a LOT happening in the early part of '97 and the hope is that this Christmas set of entries will set up the option to publish from either period.
Am considering building an A.R. blog as well to support the projct, which will be hosted and written my the narrator. This should fill in some gaps and provide more information on our mysterious vocalist. THis won't be launched until March next year though, as I want it to feel 'lived in' before revealing the address. Hope that wasn't too much of a tease.
Other news...
Well the Head of the school at which I am a governor is retiring this week, and the last few months have been filled with a flurry of meetings, emails and appointments to try and fill the position with someone as exceptional. We haven't found the ideal candidate yet, so the SMT members will fill the role temporarily... allowing us to say goodbye to someone I condsider and inspiration and a friend.
The kids are doing well, and I haven't gotten forcibly divorced yet, so I must be doing something right... lol
I'm not a fan of Christmas, but I do wish well to others, in particular those of you who have followed me over the years. I hope you have a super holiday time!
Oh and - ENGAGE CHEEKY MODE - if anyone is renewing their DV Pro membership and wants to support a little artist with big ideas feel free to name me asa gift recipient...

Back in the day as empires made haste
To colonize, to claim, to control and contain
We sat patiently in the future, helpless

I'd rather laugh with the sinners than cry with the saints
The sinners are much more fun!
Haha, I R Teh King.
It's a small little old shop, protected by local laws that stop us 'modernising' it.
In fact I think all of Wisbech has a similar rule.
